About the role

The Supervisor Support is responsible for the day-to-day management of an operational administration team, including managing key performance indicators (KPI) and providing assistance and coaching.

Responsibilities

  • Expertly use the appropriate BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests
  • Perform quality management such as error management
  • Appropriately respond to and resolve customers' inquiries
  • Monitor global distribution systems (GDS) queues daily to maintain quality control (according to client policy)
  • Respond to the customer in compliance with SLA
  • Seek opportunities to review operational administrative processes and the commercial relationship with the customer and provide suggestions for improvement

Requirements

The position requires an extensive understanding and applicability of all areas in the travel industry. Specific requirements include:

  • Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
  • Proficiency with GDS Sabre and GDS Amadeus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated excellent professional customer service and problem-resolution skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

Qualifications

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the travel industry
  • Experience with travel management software and GDS systems

Pay

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Supervisor Support (CTSS) is between $57,000 and $62,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.

Schedule

Flexibility in scheduling is a core requirement of the role.
