Supervisor, Supply Chain

About the Role

Supervises a team applying best standards and practices in Supply Chain and Logistics, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines. Manages the resolution of inventory, asset, and vendor/supplier deficiencies. Implements recommendations to streamline systems, optimize processes, and transform business operating models. Oversees supplier audits, corrective actions, and business reviews while facilitating strategic decision-making based on utilization, quality, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction.

• Maintains adequate inventory levels by supervising receipt, distribution, and demand forecasting; ensures inventory accuracy and system optimization.
• Improves supply chain operations by supervising logistics, carrier evaluations, and process transformation.
• Ensures purchasing strategy aligns with national sourcing strategy; supervises purchase requests, standardization, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversees compliance with state/federal regulations and company policies; implements audits and corrective actions.
• Maintains supplier/vendor performance through audits, onboarding, contract negotiations, and issue resolution.
• Provides technical analysis and reporting on utilization, quality, inventory, and customer satisfaction; evaluates tools and techniques for operational decisions.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of experience with databases and spreadsheets.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Material Management, Operations Research, or related field AND minimum four (4) years of experience in purchasing, contracting, negotiations, material management, logistics, or finance OR minimum seven (7) years of experience in these fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience in healthcare or another heavily regulated industry (e.g., Banking, Manufacturing).
• Two (2) years of experience in project management.

Pay

$88,700 – $114,730 per year. Actual base pay determined at offer based on labor market data, internal alignment, and candidate’s experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
