Supervisor, Substation Owners Engineering

Job Responsibilities

Assigns individual and team projects to balance project requirements with resource availability. Tracks schedule and cost performance, and ensures delivery of high quality design products.

Encourages teamwork, commitment, and quality work products, while following the ESC contract.

Forescasts work and matches with appropriate short and long term resource plan. Supports resource need for transformation initiatives and standard development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering-Electrical or equivalent experience
• Experience in engineering, electrical, substations emphasis, 1 year
• Experience in engineering, or related, 5 years
• 2 years of leadership experience (supervision or a lead role)
• Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational and interpersonal skills
• Registered Electrical P.E.
• Knowledge of Transmission or Substation engineering, design and construction experience
• Familiarity with PG&E standards and design processes
• Familiarity with ESC, Local 20 - Labor contract
• Strong MS Office skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Project scheduling tools: Clarity, MS Project, Primavera (P6)
