Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Supervisor, you will help laboratory personnel and clinical educators maintain compliance, quality standards, and high-quality education services so they can achieve operational excellence and effective clinical outcomes. Every day you will manage laboratory operations and oversee clinical education initiatives. You will be expected to exercise authority over personnel decisions, establish effective scheduling, manage workflows, and develop staff.

• Exercises authority over personnel decisions
• Establishes effective scheduling to ensure all standing commitments are met
• Manages workflow and evaluates effectiveness of assignments
• Provides high quality, effective clinical education services
• Writes and obtains approval for any policies or standard operating procedures related to Clinical Education functions
• Supervises clinical educators and ensures high quality education services
• Develops staff and conducts performance reviews

Job Requirements

• High School Graduate and 5 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical laboratory
• Phlebotomy Technician NHCA (PHLEB-NHCA)
• Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience
• Associates Degree
