Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure the effectiveness of daily truck scheduling.
• Oversee coordination with transportation companies to ensure delivery schedules are established to maximize loads in an efficient sequence while meeting customer requirements.
• Respond to customer service requests related to shipping.
• Inform the production team of issues or situations that may affect packaging and shipping performance.
• Make recommendations to meet the daily shipping schedule in order to meet cost, quality, delivery and service objectives.

Qualifications

• Skilled communicator, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to prioritize well and work under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Work with integrity and respect while demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
