About the role

The ideal candidate will have supervisory and bedside experience in a critical care environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise respiratory therapy staff
  • Provide direct patient care as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Assess and document patient progress and outcomes
  • Conduct clinical rounds and participate in shift handoffs
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy required
  • Non degreed applicants with RRT credentials prior to January 1, 2006 and graduates from a military RT program with RRT credentials will also be considered
  • State Respiratory license and NBRC RRT required at time of hire
  • 2 years supervisory experience
  • 2 years respiratory care experience

Qualifications

  • Certified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • BLS certification required at time of hire
