About the role

Supervise, coach, and motivate a team of residential door-to-door Account Executives to meet or exceed product sales, customer growth, and revenue targets. Advance the success of Account Executives through effective recruitment, selection, skills training, and continuous coaching and development. Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, tool usage, and turf deployment strategy while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity. Maintain effective cross-functional working relationships and ensure punctual, regular, and consistent attendance of direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leads to Account Executives in accordance with the Direct Sales Deployment strategy.
  • Work one-on-one with each Account Executive to set goals and ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting.
  • Demonstrate and enhance the sales process and customer experience through side-by-side field coaching and sales huddles.
  • Provide Account Executives with current promotional and competitive information on Optimum products and services, as well as those of competitors.
  • Develop direct reports to consistently achieve their Data, Mobile, and Revenue targets.
  • Clearly communicate and enforce adherence to all Company and Sales department policies, procedures, and business rules.
  • Promote a sales culture built on continuous coaching and development (leveraging 1-on-1 goal-setting meetings, sales huddles, and field coaching).
  • Ensure your team has and understands the tools required to be successful.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Attend and participate in company-sponsored training to enhance skills needed to perform duties.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of field experience selling telecommunication products and services.
  • Consistent achievement of individual and team sales targets.
  • Core competencies include teamwork, integrity, flexibility, stress tolerance, and a desire to achieve excellence.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coach a consultative sales process.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
  • PC literate with a good understanding of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or similar programs, as well as CRM applications.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in good standing within the state of current residence.
