Supervisor, Research Institute Administration

About the role

The Supervisor, Research Institute Administration oversees and supervises the day-to-day operations, activities, and coordination of executive support staff within Research Institute Administration. This role ensures compliance with regulatory, quality, customer service, and executive standards while managing personnel, operations, and the effective deployment of executive support staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise day-to-day operations, activities, and coordination of executive support staff
• Manage personnel, including hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling
• Ensure effective and efficient deployment of executive support staff
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, quality, customer service, and executive standards
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and facilities as needed
• Provide administrative program support and cross-coverage to executive leaders
• Ensure proper staffing of executive committees, councils, initiatives, and senior leader functions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or related field
• OR at least two of the following three:
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar supervisory role
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in an executive health care setting
  • Current Executive Assistant, or similar role

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal project/performance management experience
• Three or more years supervisory experience

Compensation

Compensation range: $100,110.00 – $150,166.00 per year (based on full-time employment of 2,080 hours per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided. This compensation range is specific to Seattle; positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors.
