Supervisor - Research Department

Independently coordinates research and administrative tasks in support of one or more research studies. Works with study investigators and manager to address study-related issues. Backs up other coordinators as needed. Supports department financial performance through budgeting, billing, and other directed tasks. May develop specialized research instruments and assist in the preparation of scientific manuscripts or presentations. May entail regular after-hours support, occasional on-call work, and occasional overnight business travel. Exhibits increased productivity and independence. Trains other research coordinators in the proper conduct of research studies and participates in quality control activities, as directed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research and administrative tasks for one or more studies.
• Collaborate with study investigators and managers to resolve study-related issues.
• Provide backup support to other research coordinators as needed.
• Support department financial performance through budgeting and billing.
• Develop specialized research instruments.
• Assist in preparing scientific manuscripts or presentations.
• Provide regular after-hours support, occasional on-call work, and occasional overnight business travel.
• Train other research coordinators in proper research study conduct.
• Participate in quality control activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Healthcare, or other related field or 5 years of experience in clinical research.
• 4 years of job-related experience.
• 2 years of leadership experience, which can include direct leadership or lead experience.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $47.05 - $73.04 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
