Entegris is seeking a Supervisor, Production to lead a high-tech manufacturing team in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment at our Burnet, TX facility. This role is essential to ensure safe operations, consistent product quality, and reliable on-time delivery. Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and training to technicians to ensure effective performance.
- Delegate work assignments, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to company policies and SOPs.
- Conduct critical-to-quality audits and ensure all work meets established standards.
- Recognize strong performance and address issues with appropriate documentation and follow-up.
- Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols, PPE use, and housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure equipment reliability and meet quality and cost targets.
- Identify and report potential hazards; coach employees on safe behaviors.
- Maintain accurate documentation and electronic transactions to meet ISO and internal requirements.
- Support internal, customer, and ISO audits in partnership with Quality and Management.
- Ensure production schedules are met while minimizing downtime and unnecessary costs.
- Collaborate with schedulers and planners to manage workflow and resolve interruptions.
- Troubleshoot non-routine issues and ensure technicians have the tools and equipment needed.
- Implement quality improvements using structured problem-solving methods such as 8D.
- Lead and maintain 6S activities within the work area.
- Work with Engineering to update standards, PMs, and spare parts requirements.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Perform lab maintenance tasks including PMs, supply ordering, housekeeping, and waste disposal.
- Conduct quality testing and inspections on finished products.
- Support design enhancements for existing equipment manufacturability and new product equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment (semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical, aerospace, automotive, etc.).
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong sense of urgency and sound decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with consistent follow-through.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
- Strong visual inspection skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45000 standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 70 lbs.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities; able to manage multiple tasks.
- Technical problem-solving skills; experience with electrical or PLC systems is a plus.
Schedule
Shift schedule is a 3-2-2-3 rotation on nights (6pm-6am) once fully trained and certified.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $76,000-$95,000. Final offer will be based on the candidate's overall qualifications and skills for the role.
