About the role
The Supervisor Production role is dedicated to providing training, coaching, and guidance to functional hourly associates in a manufacturing plant setting. This role focuses on ensuring the proper execution of daily work activities that drive quality, efficiency, safety, service, and cost performance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead, and motivate a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, including quality and customer satisfaction; safety practices, and deadlines.
- Engage and develop teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training.
- Implement continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus.
- Embody company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership.
- Check production output according to specifications, submit reports on performance and progress while identifying issues in efficiency and suggesting improvements.
- Facilitate cross-functional team meetings within an environment of trust and engagement and ensure the safe use of equipment.
- Coordinate immediate resolutions to work process interruptions to meet period results.
- Train new employees on how to safely use machinery, follow procedures and continuously validate conformity and effectiveness to standard work practices.
- Set daily, weekly and monthly objectives and communicate these objectives to employees.
- Maintain staffing schedules and organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
Requirements
- Work experience in a Manufacturing Environment or Food or Beverage Industry.
- Experience supervising hourly associates.
- Manufacturing machine experience.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Familiar with HACCP, ISO Standards, Six Sigma, and Lean Principles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SAP, CONA, SharePoint, PHRED, Kronos, and Livelink.
- Able to lift at least 25 lbs., stand on feet for prolonged periods and climb stairs as needed.
- Detail-oriented and capable of mentally retaining details of events.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Knowledge acquired through 3 years or more work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain; Business Administration or related field preferred.

$65,000.00 - $80,000 Salaried, depending on experience.
Schedule
3rd shift, Monday - Friday, 10:00pm - 7:30am, weekends as needed to support the business.
