Supervisor, Production

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of production team members in accordance with company policies and aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100).
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Monitor workflow, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper use of equipment and materials.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve production concerns.
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members; enforce safety and operational procedures.
• Maintain production documentation, logs, and reports.
• Support lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 5+ years of supervisory experience
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred
• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace or other regulated industry
• Knowledge of aerospace standards and quality systems (AS9100, FAA)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience with ERP systems and basic production reporting tools
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and safety best practices
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Expertise in root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC)
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work effectively with internal clients at the highest levels of the organization
• Willingness to work weekends if needed

Working Conditions

• This role requires up to 10% travel, including visits to other company sites, suppliers, or industry events as needed.
• Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to noise, machinery, and industrial equipment.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs. regularly throughout the shift.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
• Occasional work in office settings for meetings, reporting, or administrative tasks.
• May require extended hours or weekend work to meet production deadlines.
