Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of production team members in accordance with company policies and aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100).
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Monitor workflow, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper use of equipment and materials.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve production concerns.
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members; enforce safety and operational procedures.
- Maintain production documentation, logs, and reports.
- Support lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred
- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace or other regulated industry
- Knowledge of aerospace standards and quality systems (AS9100, FAA)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with ERP systems and basic production reporting tools
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and safety best practices
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Expertise in root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC)
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively with internal clients at the highest levels of the organization
- Willingness to work weekends if needed

Working Conditions
- This role requires up to 10% travel, including visits to other company sites, suppliers, or industry events as needed.
- Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to noise, machinery, and industrial equipment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs. regularly throughout the shift.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
- Occasional work in office settings for meetings, reporting, or administrative tasks.
- May require extended hours or weekend work to meet production deadlines.
