About the role

Haemonetics is hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor (Overnight) based out of its Center of Excellence located in Clinton, PA (Pittsburgh). This role is responsible for delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality production in our injection molding area.

Responsibilities

  • Assign and direct daily work across manufacturing lines to ensure safety, quality, and output goals are achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements (FDA, cGMP, ISO 13485) while developing systems that enhance visibility and control of key quality metrics.
  • Support and lead investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Monitor, manage, and report key manufacturing performance metrics including output, efficiency, scrap, downtime, and schedule attainment.
  • Ensure effective material flow, equipment availability, and labor utilization to prevent production interruptions.
  • Ensure TPM activities are planned, executed, and sustained through Area Leaders and technical resources.
  • Accountable for ensuring all assigned personnel receive timely onboarding, role-appropriate training, and ongoing qualifications.
  • Drive adoption of lean practices including 5S, Kaizen, and standard work adherence.
  • Use performance data and trends to prioritize improvement efforts that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Uphold company policies and act as a role model for values-driven behavior.

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with 1+ years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, assign work, and enforce accountability.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, FDA, and ISO 13485 standards is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or training associates.
  • Ability to balance technical problem-solving with people leadership.
  • Knowledge and experience in Lean, Six Sigma, 5S (Required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or relevant course of study. In lieu of an advanced degree, candidates with substantial manufacturing leadership experience may be considered.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand for extended periods; oversee hands-on production activities.
  • Lift/move up to 25 lbs as needed.
  • Wear cleanroom attire (gown, mask, gloves) for prolonged periods.

Schedule

The shift for this role is overnight (6:30 pm–6:45 pm) operating on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Pay

The base pay range for this role is $59,200.00–$100,800.00 per year.
