This position is located at the Marsh Ctr Eau Claire, 2116 Craig Rd, Eau Claire, WI 54701, and is a full-time role with variable/flexible hours between 7:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Provides day-to-day supervision of and clinical leadership to staff involved in obtaining and providing polysomnographic (PSG), multiple sleep latency (MSLT), home sleep testing (HST) recordings, for diagnostic use by physicians in the treatment of patients with sleep/wake disorders.

Responsible for the support of the polysomnography (PSG) collection systems and related equipment, including computer upgrades, equipment troubleshooting and related issues, software upgrades, and data management.

Assists with coordinating the expansion of services and plays a key role in site selection, equipment procurement, installation, and functionality.

Collaborates with vendors for new supplies and equipment, provides feedback and assists with budget as necessary, and oversees data management, quality assurance, and accreditation standards.

Assists with administrative duties such as payroll and scheduling, facilitates staff communication and runs departmental meetings, and attends council meetings, tasks force, and committees as a representative.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred, in an accredited program in Respiratory Care and/or Electroneurodiagnostic Technology, or other medical specialty.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in sleep disorders is required, with supervisory experience helpful.
  • Registry with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), or consideration of registry with the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM).
  • Working in North Dakota (ND), must be licensed as a RPSGT.
  • Obtain and maintain mandatory continuing education units (CEU) each year to maintain licensure and/or registry.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 60 days of employment.
