About the role

The Sleep Disorders Supervisor oversees daily clinical operations, staff supervision, and leadership in obtaining and analyzing polysomnographic (PSG), multiple sleep latency (MSLT), and home sleep testing (HST) recordings for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage PSG systems and equipment, support service expansion, and assist with site selection, procurement, installation, and maintenance of equipment
  • Oversee data management, quality assurance, accreditation compliance, and supply ordering
  • Collaborate with vendors, contribute to budget planning, facilitate staff communication, and lead departmental meetings
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as payroll and scheduling
  • Support staff in sleep study procedures and may perform neurodiagnostic testing and test scoring, reviewing and finalizing results when needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate degree required (bachelor’s preferred)
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in sleep disorders
  • Must hold or be eligible for registry as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or equivalent certification; licensing requirements based on location
  • Basic knowledge of sleep disorders, electronics, electrical safety, and proficiency in computer use for documentation and data management
  • BLS certification required within 60 days of employment
