Supervisor, Pipefitter

About the role

Paslin is looking for an experienced Pipe & Wire Supervisor for our Machine Tool Integration team to lead the layout, installation, and modification of electrical wiring and pneumatic/hydraulic piping for advanced manufacturing systems. In this critical role, you'll oversee system-level planning, establish component lists, and coordinate material procurement with the Plant Manager and Supply Chain. You'll supervise electricians, pipefitters, and contractors, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. From troubleshooting complex systems to managing manpower and developing procedures, you'll be the go-to expert for all things electrical and fluid power.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years as a Senior Pipefitter or Senior Electrician
• Journeyman's card or Technical Certification preferred
• 3+ years as a supervisor or team leader is preferred
• Background in integration of automated assembly systems with specific knowledge of mechanical and electrical build requirements
• Weld systems knowledge is a plus
• Expertise in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and quality systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment & Schedule

This position operates in both an office and a shop/plant environment, and may require work at multiple facilities depending on workload. Regularly works on-site at local Paslin locations (Hoover, 10-Mile, or Cherry Creek) and must be flexible to work at any of these three locations as needed for an extended period of time.

Typical work schedule is 6am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday. During critical project phases, work hours may flex up to 12 hours per day. This is regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet business needs.

Physical Demands

While performing duties, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist, and occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs. This is a safety sensitive role, which includes working around moving equipment and machinery.

Direct Reports

This position is part of the site leadership team and will have direct reports.

Travel

This position requires flexibility to report to multiple Paslin sites. During installation projects, this role will require overnight travel to customer sites for periods of up to 12 days at a time. Must have reliable transportation for local travel and be able to travel to sites in USA, Canada, and Mexico.
