Job Summary and Qualifications
The Laboratory Phlebotomy/Accessioning/Front Office Supervisor position is responsible for the technical oversight and daily operations of the Accessioning and Front Office departments. Will serve as a liaison between the hospital and Phlebotomy vendors, supervises day-to-day operations of lab personnel, develops policies and procedures, and provides training and support for all employees as needed. Works closely with other hospital departments to ensure excellent customer service.
- Ensures compliance with any applicable CAP, AABB, FDA, and JCAHO guidelines and other regulatory agencies as needed.
- May include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate / GED
- 2 years experience required
