Supervisor Pharmacy Ops
About the role
The Supervisor Pharmacy Operations at Chandler Regional Medical Center is responsible for planning, supervising, and evaluating daily operations to ensure the provision of professional, effective, efficient, safe, and accurate pharmaceutical care activities and services. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the delivery and documentation of pharmaceutical care provided to patients using the medication use process.
- Managing pharmacy staff, including scheduling, annual evaluations, orientation, counseling, interviewing candidates, approving time cards, hiring, and disciplining employees.
- Providing input on budgetary considerations and monitoring income and expenses to compare with the budget.
- Contributing to departmental, operational, financial, and human resources issues and initiatives.
Responsibilities
As the Supervisor Pharmacy Operations, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the workflow of subordinate staff.
- Evaluating department effectiveness and ensuring optimum staffing levels.
- Maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
- Meeting financial objectives in labor, revenue, and gross margins.
- Adhering to regulatory requirements and standards.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required, with an Advanced or Master's degree preferred (e.g., Pharm.D.).
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Pharmacist in an acute care setting and/or completion of an ASHP-accredited residency program.
- Pharmacist license in the state where you practice.
- One (1) year of supervisory or lead experience or successful completion of a Pharmacy Administrative Residency.

Pay
The posted compensation range for this position is $60.24 - $89.60 per hour, reflecting the lowest and highest pay CommonSpirit Health believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 1 PM - 10 PM.
