Supervisor, Pharmacy Operations

Responsibilities
- Team Management & Development
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Insurance Verification and Patient Outreach Specialists to deliver top-tier care.
- Coordinate and monitor workload distribution and productivity to meet performance metrics.
- Drive hiring efforts, selecting candidates who align with company culture and operational standards.
- Oversee onboarding to equip agents with necessary tools, knowledge, and resources.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and development plans.
- Address underperformance through coaching, improvement plans, or termination processes.
- Operational Excellence
- Leverage data to assess team performance and enhance efficiency.
- Monitor and manage workflow queues to ensure timely and accurate task resolution.
- Set clear performance targets and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Identify operational challenges and implement data-driven solutions.
- Assist in developing change management plans and coordinate stakeholder implementation.
- Own and resolve escalated patient concerns to deliver exceptional service.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies in pharmacy operations.
- Monitor quality standards through audits and agent work reviews.
- Proactively identify and address compliance risks or errors.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Foster open communication within the team to align on goals and priorities.
- Communicate updates, changes, and best practices effectively.
- Leadership & Problem-Solving
- Serve as a role model for professionalism, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Address escalations or complex issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a data-driven, high-growth environment, with a proven track record of leading large, cross-functional teams.
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered (minimum high school diploma or GED required).
- Experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or medical insurance, with an understanding of regulatory and operational complexities.
- Demonstrated success in overseeing teams and operations, driving initiatives, and delivering results.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities.
- Expertise in leveraging data and technology to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
- Proven track record of managing employees and workflow in high-volume environments.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing performance metrics and reporting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.
- Knowledge of pharmacy regulations, compliance, and operational standards (preferred).
- Proficiency in queue management tools, workflow systems, and office software.
Schedule
Fully onsite role in Chesterfield, MO or Boise, ID. Monday - Friday.
