Supervisor Pharmacist- FT
About the Position
Harris Health is seeking a Supervisor Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations across Smith Clinic, Casa De Amigos, and LBJ. In this role, you will help ensure safe, efficient, and compliant pharmacy operations by leading daily workflows, supervising staff, and upholding regulatory standards.
This position supports optimal patient care through collaborative leadership, formulary adherence, clinical intervention oversight, staff education, and continuous professional development. The Supervisor Pharmacist plays a key role in fostering a culture of excellence in medication management across multiple Harris Health locations.

Requirements
Education:- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred
Licensure/Certification:- Texas Pharmacist License or eligibility for Texas licensure; must obtain within 90 days of employment
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross within 90 days of employment
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required for inpatient positions prior to or within 6 months of employment; preferred for outpatient roles
IV Sterile Certification required for all inpatient areas and Fondren Pharmacy
Texas Pharmacist Preceptor Certification preferred
Experience:- Minimum of 2 years of progressive, relevant pharmacy experience
Outpatient/Retail experience required for ACS positions
Inpatient hospital experience required for IP positions
Completion of a PGY1 ASHP-accredited residency highly preferred
