About the role

The Supervisor, Patient Services supervises all aspects of Clinical Assistant performance, conducts regular meetings to foster engagement, encourage professional development, and solve problems based on individual circumstances. They lead the unit, apply standards and policies, and collaborate with other NBU members to ensure successful program implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Provides unit leadership and ensures safe patient/unit management by organizing and directing staff and resources.
  • Facilitates operational decisions and provides oversight and feedback on protocol implementation, data collection, and staff performance.
  • Conducts meetings with assigned staff to serve as a resource, answer questions, identify professional development goals, foster engagement, and provide encouragement, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Trains and evaluates staff to promote high-quality patient services and ensures appropriate staffing levels by overseeing on-call and staffing policies.
  • Solves staff concerns and unit issues in a timely, constructive manner, ensuring clear communication and accurate implementation of safety, protocol, and staffing exceptions.
  • Participates in interdisciplinary consultations and planning meetings and may represent the unit in first-line interactions with parents and visitors.
  • Reviews and approves proposed behavioral protocol changes for staff dissemination and provides direct patient care as needed, including reviewing and implementing behavioral protocols and following data collection procedures.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) coursework is required. RBT or BCBA certification is preferred.
  • Must have and maintain CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Maintain up-to-date status in Behavior Management training and other company-provided in-service topics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, or allied discipline is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience with the implementation of treatment programs for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavior disorders is required. Experience with the design of such programs and child and adolescent populations is preferred.
  • Experience with and basic knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis principles is required. Previous leadership experience and strong professional experience with staff supervision are strongly preferred.

USD $50,786.11/Yr.

USD $87,503.31/Yr.
