US:NV:Carson CityFull Time Standard Office Hours Summary The Patient Financial Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the billing operations within the healthcare organization's revenue cycle management process. This position involves leading a team of billing specialists, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims, and maximizing revenue collection efficiency. The Supervisor is responsible for managing billing workflows, maintaining compliance with billing regulations, and fostering a collaborative work environment to achieve departmental goals. Strong leadership, analytical skills, and extensive knowledge of billing processes and regulations are essential for success in this role. What You’ll DoLead, coach, and mentor Patient Financial Services staff, fostering a collaborative, positive, and high-performing team environment.Oversee the end-to-end billing process, including claim submission, follow-up, account reconciliation, payment processing, and customer service.Ensure billing accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations, payer requirements, and self-pay practices; resolve billing discrepancies, errors, and denied or rejected claims.Monitor billing performance metrics and KPIs, analyze trends, and implement strategies to improve revenue collection, reduce denials, and increase operational efficiency.Optimize billing systems, technology, and workflows by partnering with IT and stakeholders on system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.Develop staff training and education, promote continuous improvement, and collaborate with revenue cycle teams and other departments to resolve issues, improve customer service, and support organizational goals.
