Supervisor Patient Access Services FT Days

About the Role

Responsible for coordinating the activities of personnel engaged in registration and pre-authorization functions. Plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of the Patient Access Service. Manage staff for optimum performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise staff in patient registration and pre-authorization functions
• Coordinate and direct operations of the Patient Access Service
• Manage team performance and enforce policies and procedures
• Interact with all levels of medical center staff, physicians, patients, and insurance companies regarding registration processes

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of patient registration and/or pre-authorization experience
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience leading or supervising others and/or managing processes
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD, HCPCS, and/or drug codes
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma or GED (Associate's or higher preferred)

• Effective leadership and team management
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders

Pay

Annual salary range: $50,000 to $60,000. The rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills. This range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation.
