About the Role

The Operations Training Supervisor leads the development and execution of training programs for all Operations. This role oversees training resources and is responsible for designing, maintaining, and delivering structured training content to support manufacturing employees. The supervisor partners with organizational leadership to align training initiatives with strategic goals, ensuring a strong pipeline of skilled talent and continuous workforce development.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise members of the Operations Training department
  • Develop and implement a structured approach to On-The-Job (OJT) training
  • Coordinate training schedules for new hire employees and cross-training for current employees
  • Conduct training sessions covering orientation, on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.
  • Support the creation of training checklists, knowledge checks, and evaluations
  • Participate in the development or improvement of process work instructions
  • Collaborate with production managers and supervisors to develop and support training programs
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training for continuous improvement of content and delivery
  • Develop strong relationships with internal customers
  • Coordinate the tracking and maintenance of employee training records
  • Identify key training developmental opportunities
  • Identify new training methodologies and tools
  • Partner with the operations team to execute short and long-term training and developmental strategy aligned with organizational goals

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Lead/Trainer experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Ability to train others
  • Ability to read, interpret, and create written procedural documentation
  • Knowledge of general production technical skills, assembly processes, and quality practices
  • Strong computer skills
  • 2-3 years of Training Specialist experience

Schedule

Monday through Thursday: 7 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 7 AM - 11 AM

Pay

Pay range for this opportunity is $68,637.50 - $88,825.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than the range listed. Pay rates are based on factors including local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, and foreign language fluency.
