Schedule
The Supervisor on Duty is classified as a Seasonal position, working four 10-hour days a week including weekends and evenings. Assigned work shifts will be Thursday through Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee workflow of staff for efficient productivity and successful completion of duties.
- Delegate work assignments as appropriate.
- Assist with dispensing supplies.
- Perform routine janitorial maintenance as specified by Operations Management including cleaning/stocking restrooms, emptying trash cans, cleaning offices, monitoring property for trash on ground, etc.
- Identify, report, handle, and document any problems with facilities as needed (i.e. leaks, broken items, maintenance issues, etc.). Escalate issues in a timely manner, as appropriate.
- Safely operate and be responsible for minor maintenance of janitorial equipment used.
- Meet janitorial project completion schedules on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Assist with special projects as required.
- Meet and check-in with the evening janitorial team daily and confirm their area assignments.
- Partner and maintain communication with Public Events, Guest Experience, and Security teams throughout events to ensure that the guest experience is optimal.
- Support the Security department with handling reported injuries, incidents, and emergencies.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
- High School education or equivalent.
- 2-5 years transferable operations experience, or related experience; 1-year supervisory experience preferred.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic English understanding and communication skills.
- Proficient in workplace safety measures.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends and evenings.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and to physically and repeatedly walk the property for janitorial/equipment oversight and support in all weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements including background check, drug screening, and physical examinations.
