Supervisor on Duty

Position Summary

This is not a sit behind the desk job! This position requires a high level of responsibility and works both independently and within a team structure to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring programs, events and operations of park district facilities and parks
• Acting as the evening and weekend manager on duty, responsible for responding to any questions or concerns that may arise

Qualifications

• Minimum two years recreation or customer service experience
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Capable of independent problem-solving, proactive decision making, and able to confidently direct employees, participants, parents, and spectators
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• A valid Illinois driver's license is necessary
• CPR and First Aid certification will be required and provided
• Must successfully pass a post offer drug test and driver's abstract
• Must successfully pass a background check
• Minimum Age: 18

Pay

$16.00-$18.00/hour.

Schedule

Part-time position (employees do not work more than 1,000 hours in a calendar year). 10-20 hours per week. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. Shifts generally between the hours of:

• Monday - Friday: 4:30pm - 9:15pm
• Saturday: 8am - 9:15pm
• Sunday: 8am - 9:15pm
