Supervisor of Quality Lab
About the role
We are looking for a Quality Supervisor who will be responsible for the oversight of production Quality personnel and processes, including: ensuring the proper procedures are in place, managing shift staffing, ensuring adequate training with on‑time completion, and coordinating the direct supervision of quality inspection personnel. They will act as primary driver for the enforcement of ISO 13845 standards within the production and quality lab environment. This position works under minimal supervision and serves as a backup to some of the Quality Assurance Manager functions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper procedures are in place
- Manage shift staffing
- Ensure adequate training with on‑time completion
- Coordinate direct supervision of quality inspection personnel
- Act as primary driver for enforcement of ISO 13845 standards in production and quality lab
- Serve as backup to Quality Assurance Manager functions
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age and pass pre‑employment Reading and Ruler tests
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
- 2+ years of QA Lab Supervisor experience in an ISO 13485 environment
Qualifications
- Flexible packaging industry experience preferred
- Previous ERP experience is a plus
- SPC software experience required
- Strong knowledge of all regulatory requirements in an ISO 13485 environment
Skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and share knowledge
- Ability to work well with other departments in communicating timelines, priorities, and resolving ambiguous tasks/situations

Pay
$70,000 to $95,000 per year
Schedule
Shift available 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday‑Friday, with additional hours of 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm or extended hours once per week to help 2nd and 3rd shift direct reports.
