Supervisor of Planning Research and Evaluation

Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 based on certifications, degree, and experience. Entitled to benefits consistent with NASA contract.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate area of concentration
  • Valid New Jersey Supervisor Certificate
  • At least five (5) years of successful experience as a teacher in a school setting (Standard Teaching Certificate)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in the areas of planning, research and evaluation of data to support best instructional practices through differentiation and through the use of technology
  • Successful completion of criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
  • Successful completion of physical examination
  • Meet such alternatives to the above qualifications, as the Superintendent may deem appropriate, acceptable and legal

Reports To

Director of Curriculum & Instruction

Responsibilities

  • Plan, evaluate, and manage comprehensive research and development programs in support of the instructional and other programs within North Arlington School District
  • Coordinate the distribution and interpretation of school accountability reports
  • Organize and coordinate research activities in the district
  • Compile data and create reports
  • Provide data management and oversight as well as ongoing feedback and coaching to further professional development throughout the school district
  • Provide strategic, data-driven problem-solving support to organizational leadership while offering consultation to school leadership
  • Ensure a high level of instructional leadership to create systems, structures, processes, and procedures to eliminate gaps in student learning through equity practices
  • Establish organizational systems and assessments to provide timely and helpful data to district leaders, school leaders, and families to measure and ensure all students are future-ready
  • Lead the school community toward a shared vision and a common understanding of the value of available data
  • Create a continuous process for analyzing, interpreting, and acting upon data through a developed and unified protocol
  • Provide applicable data to help inform decisions, goals, and budgeting for IEP/504, G&T, at-risk, and ELL students
