Supervisor Nursing Services-2N Med/Surg-Lutheran

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership as part of the unit management team.
• Captures unit management activities in conjunction with the manager/director.
• Fosters staff development within the unit in collaboration with the manager/director.
• Enforces the day-to-day operational plan of the unit under the direction of the manager/director.
• Serves as a resource to other health team members on the assigned unit.
• Collaborates with other departments to promote cost-effective healthcare.
• Might assume patient care assignments based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Two years experience as a clinical nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Iowa license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Writes, reads, and speaks fluent English.
• Completes basic management courses within one year.
• Successfully completes a post-offer, pre-employment strength and agility test at Medium Level of Work.

Pay

$10,000.00 New Hire Sign On Bonus for full-time positions.

Schedule

40 hours per week.
