Supervisor, Nursing Administration, Part time, 7pm-7:30am
About the role
The Supervisor of Nursing Administration is responsible and accountable for the administrative and clinical functions of patient care services during hours when other management and administrative staff are not present on-site. In collaboration with nursing leadership, this role works to improve the quality of patient care, strengthen the financial performance of the department, and enhance patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. Serves as a role model and provides clinical expertise to department staff while acting as an on-site resource for hospital-wide problem-solving and decision-making. Identifies safety concerns and implements measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities
- Oversee administrative and clinical functions of patient care services during off-hours.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to improve patient care quality and departmental financial performance.
- Serve as a clinical expert and role model for department staff.
- Act as an on-site resource for hospital-wide problem-solving and decision-making.
- Identify safety concerns and implement measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Demonstrate a commitment to customer service and meet the needs of patients and colleagues.
Requirements
- Current California RN license.
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card from the American Heart Association.
- 5 years of acute care clinical experience.
Skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal competence, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of clinical nursing practice and principles/practices of management.
Pay
$57.04–$97.40 per hour, with a $7.00 shift differential for nights.
Schedule
Night shift.
