Job Summary

North Anna is seeking a Supervisor Nuclear Project Controls. This role involves supervising staff in providing project controls support for tasks assigned to the Nuclear Site Services Department at the Nuclear Station. Tasks include developing capital budgets, project authorization, project and construction schedules, and variance and forecast reporting on capital maintenance projects. The position also involves coordinating activities, interfacing with station management and other departments, ensuring effective control and reporting of construction and maintenance project costs, scheduling, and budgeting. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for providing expertise in developing the station capital budget and five-year forecast, ensuring project authorizations are closed out and maintained, assigning projects to employees, and tracking assignment completion.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

  • 7+ years of finance and accounting experience, including a minimum of two years in a leadership role preferred.
  • Familiarity with processes required to implement physical modifications to the facility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong personal computer skills including Maximo, SAP, DocTop, Microsoft Office Suite, Plant Access Management System (PAMS), P3e Scheduling Tool.
  • Familiarity with creating and processing schedules using Primavera Project Planner software.
  • Lead personnel to execute work safely and efficiently.
  • Demonstrates high level of ownership for their responsibilities, persists through adversity, and follows through with commitments.
  • Acts with bias for action to challenge and correct behaviors and promote high standards of performance.
  • Demonstrates high level integrity, safety, professionalism, and appropriate behavior driven results.
  • Proactively communicates information and decisions to personnel and station leaders in a manner that is honest, direct, and meaningful.
  • Maintains appropriate oversight of his/her personnel and team members and acts promptly to provide direction when necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand a wide variety of topics and be sufficiently involved to ensure all work items under their area of responsibility are produced with the highest degree of quality including technical accuracy.

Education Requirements

A degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education. Preferred disciplines include Accounting, Finance, and Construction Engineering. Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.

The expected hiring base salary range is $116,300 - $151,100.
