About the role
The Supervisor, New Construction supports the development and delivery of new restaurant projects within an assigned market. This role is primarily focused on the overall project/development process cycle, including entitlements, design coordination, permitting, budgeting, preparing projects for construction, and completing through construction closeout.
Responsibilities
- Manage the pre-construction phase of new restaurant development including entitlements, design coordination, permitting, and budgeting.
- Cookordination with architects, engineers, and consultants to prepare construction documents and project approvals.
- Lead the contractor bidding process and award projects to qualified general contractors.
- Partner with franchisees and cross-functional teams including real estate, design, equipment, and operations.
- Maintain oversight of project schedules, budgets, and development milestones.
- Provide construction oversight and milestone tracking while collaborating with external construction managers who lead day-to-day site activities.
- Conduct periodic site visits to ensure adherence to plans, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Track project financials and provide regular status updates to leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in construction, development, or project management, preferably in retail, restaurant, or multi-site development.
- Experience with entitlements, permitting, and pre-construction planning.
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a geographic market.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Pay
The expected salary range for this role is $104,482.00 - $130,602.00 per year.
