Supervisor Neurodiagnostic Lab (EMU) | FT | VUH

About the role

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Supervisor for the Neurodiagnostic Lab, with a preference for experience in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU).

Responsibilities

• Supervises the technical operation of the neurodiagnostic laboratory.
• Communicates with neurodiagnostic staff, hospital staff and physicians in the performance of neurodiagnostic procedures.
• Performs complex neurodiagnostic procedures according to department protocols.
• Performs visual maintenance checks on all equipment used, takes reports from other technical staff about malfunctions/needs and reports these to the appropriate vendors in timely fashion.

Requirements

• Registered EEG Technologist - American Board of Registration of Eletoencephalograpic and Evoked Potential Technologists certification.
• Relevant work experience, with a preference for experience in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU).
• Experience in supervising technical operations and performing complex neurodiagnostic procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and other departments.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in related field.
• 5 years of relevant work experience.
