About the Role

The Supervisor, National Video Investment focuses on media buying and investment initiatives, servicing clients in the creation, execution, and monitoring of media plans. The role aims to secure the best investment options across various channels to maximize reach to targeted consumers. The ideal candidate will have experience in video investment, addressable TV, and programmatic buying, with a proven ability to lead buying initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Own tactical plan development, recommendation, building, and negotiations across respective channels.
  • Participate in the evaluation of media plans for addressable TV, National TV, linear and alternative video (including streaming/OTT, cinema, online video, video on demand (VOD), etc.).
  • Gather data to create reports including Rankers, Dimensions, overnights, and others.
  • Collaborate with key partners including Client Ops, Strategy, Analytics, and external agencies.
  • Assist with deck writing, budget and channel allocation, and audience development.
  • Analyze data to inform purchase and channel allocation and prepare post-buy documents.
  • Screen content per client's guidelines and budget allocations.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives including deck writing, budget and channel allocation, and audience development.
  • Oversee day-to-day campaign execution and ensure campaigns deliver on KPIs.
  • Support development of strategic approach and experience design by delivering channel ideas and linking to historical performance and in-market opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with client counterparts and manage day-to-day relationships.
  • Responsible for management, development, and mentorship of Associates/Sr. Associates.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of media buying experience; previous team management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with planning, executing, and measuring audience-based campaigns, both programmatically and through direct IO; familiarity with hands-on-keyboard setup, optimizing, and reporting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of national video investment management (digital video and broadcast TV) and digital channels (Display, Video, Social, Mobile, etc.), with expertise in driving innovation and measurable results.
  • Solid technical skills and working knowledge of the following platforms/systems:
    • The Trade Desk (TDD)
    • DV360
    • OX and Prisma/Mediaocean for linear and digital buying
    • Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Thorough knowledge of the principles of on/offline marketing and advertising, media concepts and terms, and programmatic buying mechanics (PMPs, PG, RTB, auction dynamics).
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects effectively while working well under pressure to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines, both individually and in a team setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in negotiation and influence, with deep industry, brand, and competitive knowledge.
  • Willingness to learn and create solutions that challenge the status quo.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to think unconventionally; strong attention to detail, time management, and quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency.

Pay

Compensation Range: USD $60,800.00 - USD $93,600.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
