Why You’ll Love This Role:Manage a team responsible for the receiving, storage, kitting, and distribution of inventory, including delivery and collection from local vendors.Your goal is to ensure the smooth, damage-free, and cost-efficient material flow to support our operations in a manner that demonstrates, “Everything is Important.” What You’ll Do:Perform administrative duties, including but not limited to approving timecards, scheduling, conducting reviews, maintaining stocking levels of supplies, and one-on-one mentoring and training of direct reportsImplement best-practices for warehouse logistics, shipping, and receiving, including but not limited to transportation options, packaging requirements, routing, etc.Support and maintain metric goals and objectives for the Inventory teamsConduct regular safety walk-throughs, addresses safety issues, and promotes safety policiesInterface with Quality Control, Transportation, Planning, Purchasing, and other related departments to resolve problems relative to receipt and distribution of materialBe the point position for area audits and other compliance requirementsEnsure maintenance of a clean and organized work area by making continuous improvements to workspace designSupervise the Inventory, Transport, Shipping and Receiving teamsFoster an environment where change is embraced and ideas are respected, supported, vetted, and ultimately implemented (when appropriate)Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment Who We’re Looking For:Has an Associate’s Degree or higherFive (5) years minimum experience in a Production Coordinator or Material Generalist positionMinimum one (1) year of leadership experienceBonus points for experience with MRP systems like InforBonus points for experience in the aerospace or automotive industryBonus points for experience in a rapid growth environment Location & Schedule:This position is onsite in Caron, CA and the schedule is Monday – Friday 5am – 1:30pm. What We Offer - Benefits Driven by You:The starting pay range for this position is between $86,953 - 108,691 per year plus bonus. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
