Supervisor, Manufacturing - Weekend

About the role

Jered, a PAR Systems Company, is seeking a Weekend Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a new weekend shift at our Brunswick, Georgia facility. The role involves providing leadership to manufacturing employees, ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently, and serving as a critical link between weekend and weekday operations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead a high-performing weekend manufacturing operation that consistently meets safety, quality, schedule, and productivity objectives.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a team, fostering a culture of teamwork, ownership, and operational excellence.
• Resolve manufacturing challenges with urgency, ensuring products move through fabrication, paint, and assembly operations according to schedule and quality expectations.
• Lead by example, drive accountability, support continuous improvement initiatives, and develop employee capabilities through coaching and training.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of supervisory, leadership, or manufacturing management experience
• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Experience in engineered-to-order, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments preferred
• Experience supporting fabrication, welding, paint, machining, or mechanical assembly operations preferred
• Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives preferred
