Position Summary
The person in this position oversees assembly and manufacturing resources to ensure the delivery of finished goods in accordance with the master schedule. Aids and trains line leads and personnel as needed. Required to oversee multiple lines and multiple functions in manufacturing. Required to identify and implement process improvements as part of the Lean Manufacturing philosophy at Light and Wonder. Other duties may be assigned, as required to facilitate assembly, quality, and delivery of all manufactured products.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for physically loading and unloading packages and parts by hand, including placing, pushing, lifting, carrying, and pulling the item in an efficient and safe manner.
- Ensuring the successful packaging and staging of orders for their intended ship via to the destination.
- Handling goods and documents in a busy warehouse setting.
- Communicate efficiently with fellow workers, supervisors, and other members of the team.
- Submit MOCRs for missing parts.
- Submit WM Support Tickets when having systemic issues closing orders.
- Transact RTS items.
- Assist with training new hires.
- Provide daily end of day KPIs.
- Attend the daily notified meeting and order closure call.
- Understand and carryout directions from immediate Supervisor and assist with directing workflow.
- Recognize and analyze problem areas and help develop solutions:
- Problem solving
- Troubleshooting
- Recommend operational changes to improve process efficiency.
- Inform/communicate with the immediate Supervisor of any direct labor shortages.
- Ensure the production area is well kept and improve 6S performance.
- Work responsibly and efficiently while adhering to all safety rules and policies.
- Comply with Company's attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
- Perform all required functions in warehouse management system as trained.
- Use a desktop computer to complete necessary transactions.
- Communicate via company email.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse environment.
- Minimum of 1 year in a Lead role or equivalent.
- High school graduate or equivalent - must be able to verify.
- Must be at least 18 years of age, as required by law.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
- Experience or willingness to learn to operate a forklift, hand, and electric pallet jacks.
- Experience with computers and RF scanners.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs continuously throughout a shift.
- Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the warehouse for extended periods of time.
- Use of arms, hands, legs and back is required for repetitive motions of lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting.
Work Schedule
- May require weekends and evening hours.
