About the role
The Supervisor, Maintenance Planning is responsible for daily supervision and guidance for Maintenance Planning personnel within the Maintenance Planning department. This position supervises six Maintenance Planners.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall supervision of designated Maintenance Planners, including guidance and instruction on daily job functions, shift scheduling, payroll, procedural training, and performance evaluations.
- Perform routine audits of company computerized maintenance systems to ensure accuracy and timely completion of all scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate activities required for new aircraft arrival and transfer of aircraft to and from the company fleet.
- Ensure timely execution of all Daily Remain Overnight (RON) Maintenance visits, Extended Visit, Mod Lines, and major component plans.
- Monitor fleet maintenance capacity requirements and flight schedule changes; coordinate necessary changes to meet minimum maintenance requirements.
- Oversee timely completion of all Maintenance Program, Engineering, and deferred Maintenance Tasks (MEL, NEF, CDL, TRENDs, Management Requests, and Planning Watch Items).
- Maintain adequate staffing levels across all Maintenance Planning positions to complete daily assigned job functions through judicious use of company policy.
- Monitor aircraft and hub operations to route/reroute aircraft during operational irregularities while maintaining the integrity of the maintenance plan and company performance objectives.
- Notify Manager, Maintenance Planning of scheduling conflicts or material shortages affecting timely compliance of scheduled maintenance requirements.
- Support and provide backup for the Maintenance Planning Manager or Supervisor.
- Perform analysis and projects as assigned by the Manager, Maintenance Planning.
- Work in the Endeavor Airlines OCC, requiring professional contact with OCC personnel, management staff, outside vendors, and the FAA.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and related experience.
- 3-5 years’ experience in maintenance planning is preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
- 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and airline operations.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in speech and writing; intermediate-level computer skills required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
- Must be capable of producing senior-level reports on fleet scheduling and forecast requirements.
- Willingness to work weekends, evenings/nights, and holidays.
- Some physical exertion required (e.g., pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking, and light lifting up to 30 lbs).
- Repetitive motion such as typing; minimal physical exertion in a typical office environment.
- May require wearing facial masks, taking safety measures, or working remotely as dictated by safety standards.
- Some company travel and overnight visits to Maintenance Bases may be required.
