About the role
Cardinal Ritter Senior Services is seeking a Facilities Lead to oversee maintenance and operational integrity of facilities. The role requires strong management skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment.
Responsibilities
- Cook up assigned facility projects and maintenance activities.
- Support preventive maintenance programs and monitor task completion.
- Conduct facility assessments and identify maintenance, safety, and compliance issues.
- Aid in Joint Commission, Physical Environment, Life Safety, OSHA, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Review work orders and assist with prioritizing maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors as needed.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, inventories, and related documentation.
- Aid with emergency preparedness, weather response, and facility recovery activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Facilities Technicians.
- Participate in on-call rotations as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certification preferred.
- Three to five years of facilities, maintenance, or building operations experience.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and building systems.
- Experience working with vendors and contractors preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Skills and Competencies
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
