About the role
Work Mode: Onsite
Location: Onsite - Huntsville, AL
Opportunity Assign labor force to appropriate tasks in line with efficient crewing needs and contractual requirements.
Insures that all process and quality specifications are followed in the shipping/receiving of scheduled components.
Responsible to monitor shipping results and insure that budget rates are exceeded.
Maintain detailed knowledge of process and equipment in order to achieve optimum efficiency.
Insures that all shift employees are adequately trained in the necessary process procedures to accomplish assignments efficiently.
Hold or participate monthly safety meetings with shift employees to communicate the importance of safe work practices.
Monitor and enforce all safety rules.
Administer labor contract, plant rules and handle appropriate discipline.
Continuously strive to improve process, process equipment and procedures.
Encourage shift employees to improve processes.

- Maintain oversight of shipping results to exceed budgeted rates.
- Stay updated on process and equipment knowledge to enhance operational efficiency.
- Adequately train shift employees in necessary process procedures.
- Facilitate monthly safety meetings to reinforce safe work practices.
- Enforce all safety rules and regulations.
- Manage labor contracts, plant rules, and handle disciplinary actions.
- Pursue continuous improvement in processes, equipment, and procedures.
- Incentivize shift employees to enhance process improvements.
- Understand and enforce procedures related to safe handling of hazardous materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education/experience.
- Demonstrated success in a leadership position requiring accomplishment of standards or goals through subordinates.
- Strong communication skills.
Skills
- Trained on all applicable SOPs, LOPs, policies, and procedures.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $73,250 - $111,350. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, education, and the work location.
Schedule
This position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
