Supervisor - LAX Airport

Join us as a Supervisor, responsible for overseeing daily operations, team scheduling, safety management, productivity, and material coordination. You'll provide hands-on guidance and training to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction while promoting a strong safety culture.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily team operations, including scheduling, work orders, safety, productivity, material coordination, and employee relations.
- Provide direct support, guidance, and on-the-job training to team members.
- Foster strong working relationships to enhance team and customer satisfaction.
- Promote a culture of safety by leading new employee safety training and conducting quality control inspections on maintenance activities.
- Support Operational Managers in monitoring and improving operational performance.
- Develop and maintain processes and documentation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead shift handovers and team briefings.
- Participate in scheduled and ad-hoc meetings, training sessions, airport tours, and audits.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- 3+ years of maintenance experience.
- 1-3 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
- Availability for on-call support and work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport security badge.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial technology, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in airport baggage handling, airline ground operations, or facility maintenance in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and email systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Pay
$73,200.00 - $117,800.00
Schedule
Varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
