Responsibilities
- Captures and distributes monthly, weekly, and daily staff schedules for direct reports.
- Selects, trains, and develops new and existing staff members.
- Maintains quality assurance and improvement activities.
- Collaborates with clients and patients to meet service needs and gather feedback.
- Monitors financial goals and reviews policies and procedures within their area of responsibility.
- Schedules and manages workload and processes.
- Takes responsibility for individual performance goals.
- Supervises all aspects of referral laboratory testing.
- Coordinates and monitors specimen processing equipment for compliance documentation, functional operational checks, and routine maintenance.
Requirements
- Associate's degree
- 3-5 years' relevant experience
- Phlebotomy certification from a nationally recognized accreditation body
- At least 1 year of supervisory/leadership experience
Qualifications
Active participation in the Laboratory Management Team.
Skills
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
