About the Role

The Inbound Operations Supervisor leads and develops a team responsible for the efficient receipt, processing, and documentation of inbound inventory. This role focuses on driving employee performance through coaching, training, scheduling, and accountability while fostering a safe, engaged, and high-performing work environment. The Supervisor ensures operational goals are met through effective workforce management, continuous process improvement, and the use of key performance metrics to support productivity, accuracy, and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Understand and perform all aspects of the Inbound Operations Department.
• Train new employees and ensure current employees follow proper procedures.
• Ensure all incoming products are received, processed, and documented accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Perform all annual reviews, coaching, and corrective actions.
• Monitor and approve employee time sheets, time off requests, and schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Perform all other duties as deemed appropriate to the position.
• Use metrics and KPIs to streamline processes and inspire team performance.
• Review and schedule inbound freights.
• Evaluate the workload and adjust hours when necessary (overtime).
• Supervise the distribution, efficiency, and utilization of the daily workload.
• Resolve all receiving discrepancies, non-conformance, and handling of merchandise per policy.
• Ensure that all associates are trained and compliant to carry out their assigned duties.
• Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations (as applicable to the job function).
• Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval.
• Adopt the “Beyond Compliance Quality Culture” in the work environment; always meet and exceed requirements.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 5+ years in inbound/receiving.
• Sit Down Forklift, Stand-Up Forklift, TSP certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Availability for overtime and weekend work when needed.

Skills

• SAP, Blue Yonder, or a related ERP system skill preferred.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and balance tasks in a highly demanding environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail for high level of accuracy and quality.
• Ability to multitask.
• Use of Stand-Up Forklift, Sit-Down Forklift, Turret Stock Picker, Electric Pallet Jack, Pallet Jack, Computer, Scale, Hand-held Scanner, Wrap & Top Label Application System.

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions

• Able to sit or stand for longer periods of time.
• Safe handling of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals for distribution.
• Use of computer and telephone equipment and other related office accessories/devices to complete assignments.
• May work extended hours during peak business cycles.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. independently, and use assisted lift for more than 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow safe handling of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals, including spill response to assist with containment.
• Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level for tasks throughout the shift.
• Visual acuity to observe surroundings clearly in all directions, including far, near, and peripheral vision.

Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm

Pay

$64,480-$80,600/annually + 4% STIP
