Job Profile Summary

Responsible for the storage and movement of materials and finished goods including: • Shipping and receiving. • Warehousing. • Order filling, picking, and packing. • Inventory control and records management. • Dispatch. • Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes. • Analyzing and projecting transportation costs. • Coordinating customs clearances and permits. • Maintaining, loading, packing and driving vehicles. • Evaluating, selecting, and managing ongoing relationships with external transport providers (e.g., fuel suppliers, trucking/shipping companies, etc.). • Acquiring and managing fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily receiving processes on the dock and in the coolers, ensuring preferred work methods are being followed by associates.
• Assisting employees if short-staffed driving forklifts, shipping trucks, receiving the product, loading trucks, or cleaning warehouse.
• Communicating with the teams daily to explore opportunities within the inbound processes
• Review, coach, and develop the maintenance associates.
• Maintaining work, adherence to policy and safety requirements.
• Issuing discipline when necessary.
• Maintains associate relations through regular department or pre-shift meetings; maintains on-going interaction
• Keeps open communication channels with associates by answering questions and explaining policies and procedures
• Makes all necessary substitution and responsible for the upkeep of power equipment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of warehouse experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Professional Skills: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and prioritize duties.
