About the role
Under the supervision of the department Director, the Radiologic Technologist Supervisor provides oversight of radiology services and is responsible for day-to-day operations. The Supervisor renders radiology technician services such as direct patient care diagnostic testing in addition to overall workflow management.
Responsibilities
- Supervises radiology technicians within the department including workforce time keeping and performance appraisal
- Ensures completion of technical equipment quality assurance
- Manages continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Validates competency of direct reports
