Supervisor II, Warehouse Operations
Lead a shift of warehouse staff at the new Chick-fil-A Supply Distribution Center (DC) in Lubbock, TX. Collaborate with other leaders to execute safe and effective operations that meet organizational needs and support Chick-fil-A’s vision and corporate purpose. Report directly to the Operations Manager, focusing on exceptional customer service for Chick-fil-A restaurant Operators while ensuring safety and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). Responsibilities
- Motivate, staff, schedule, and support a dynamic team responsible for inbound, outbound, inventory control, and other warehouse tasks by creating workflows and eliminating waste.
- Oversee daytime transportation operation performance, including audits and route observations, when required.
- Serve as the point of contact in the absence of senior leaders in the building.
- Lead operational improvement and change management projects for the building.
- Drive Safety, Quality, and Compliance (SQC) activities daily as the primary business partner to the SQC site leader.
- Support OPEX performance initiatives in partnership with Senior DC Leaders, COBE, and other support groups.
- Actively support and lead process adherence activities, SOPA, and compliance audits in the DC.
- Support other distribution centers by traveling to other sites to assist with operational needs, when required.
- Collaborate with leaders and team members to identify, analyze, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Monitor expenditure data and support budget management.
- Recruit, train, and develop a strong team.
- Mentor Supervisor I and Lead Warehouse Team Members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and drive areas of improvement in overall operations performance.
- Collaborate with the warehouse ops manager regarding staff performance, driving improvements, and recognizing outstanding performance.
- Act as a liaison to Restaurant Services, balancing Operator needs with operational capabilities.
- Implement, manage, and improve distribution center operations.
- Deliver high service levels to Operators and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Work closely with the DC Leadership Team, CFA Supply Services, and various business partners to ensure optimal alignment and collaboration.
- Support the Chick-fil-A vision and strategy by building a culture aligned with Chick-fil-A Supply values of care, safety, and excellence.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in distribution, manufacturing, transportation, or another relevant supply chain field.
- Demonstrated experience with and functional knowledge of food service distribution, including warehousing, operations (including Six Sigma and Lean), engineering standards, warehouse equipment, and performance metrics.
- Working knowledge of innovations in supply chain and warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with general safety standards, quality specifications, and governmental requirements.
- Ability to complete physically demanding work, including consistently lifting up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Demonstrated ability to value both relationships and results and to prioritize others.
- Strong aptitude for critical thinking, problem-solving, and driving improvements in a professional and respectful manner.

Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in warehouse operations, particularly in a food distribution or food manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a start-up environment.
