Supervisor I, Farming Rotational (Edinburg, TX)

About the role

Wonderful Citrus is North America’s leading integrated grower, shipper and packer of fresh citrus, including clementines/mandarins, navel and Valencia oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits, and other citrus varieties. Wonderful Citrus farms more than 74,000 acres of fresh citrus and has supplier relationships around the world to ensure a year‑round supply. Our citrus can be found in all channels of distribution, with our consumer brands most visible in the produce department of grocery stores across the globe under our flagship consumer brands, Wonderful Halos Mandarins, Wonderful Seedless Lemons, and Wonderful Sweet Scarletts Texas Red Grapefruit. This position is based in Edinburg, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through all areas of the Farming division, including but not limited to Nursery Operation, Shops, Pest Control, Spray Operations, General Cultural Farming.
• Help supervise, plan, organize, and coordinate activities pertaining to the production of citrus in assigned geographic areas.
• Supervise day‑to‑day operations including fertility, pest control, weed control, irrigation, pruning, frost protection, and other related ranch projects.
• Give direction, display leadership, provide training and guidance, and promote teamwork within the labor force and other departments within Wonderful Citrus for a productive and harmonious work atmosphere.
• Schedule, coordinate, supervise and monitor all irrigation functions by implementing irrigation schedules.
• Supervise full‑time employees year‑round, and up to 60 seasonal employees.

Requirements

Ability to start full‑time work in November 2026.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in agricultural related studies preferred or three years agricultural operations experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired.
• Computer literate.
