Supervisor I, CMO Training

About the role

As the CMO Training Supervisor, you will have functional responsibility for training operations within CMO manufacturing departments, including documentation, formulation, preparation, filtration, filling, lyophilization, inspection, and packaging. This role oversees New Hire and Onboarding, content creation, maintenance and revision of Compliance Wire & LMS curriculums, ensuring training consistency across all shifts, assisting with audit observations, TrackWise PRs, and supervising training employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned training operations, including onboarding, curricula ownership, training coordinator activities, content creation, and manufacturing compliance of training items.
• Ensure consistent shift training across all manufacturing areas.
• Report operational status to management.
• Review and update training documentation for CMO manufacturing areas.
• Provide cGMP, GDP, job task, and safety training for personnel in SVP areas, coordinating with shift SMEs.
• Generate, update, and maintain area Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain compliance with cGMP through observation, training, and auditing.
• Address audit questions and responses related to training.
• Supervise hourly employee performance, ensuring adherence to SOPs, cGMPs, and safety regulations.
• Perform deviation investigations, implement corrective actions, and initiate CAPA and change control processes.
• Order production supplies and equipment required for training.
• Prepare training compliance reports and other data sets.
• Interview new employees and provide coaching and counseling to area personnel.
• Conduct performance evaluations and set objectives for area personnel.
• Assist in implementing disciplinary actions as needed.
• Collaborate with supporting departments to resolve training issues promptly and with quality considerations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a hard science, communications, business, or applicable discipline (desired).
• 4+ years of related experience required; prior experience in a Manufacturing or Production Environment preferred.
• Pharmaceutical, teaching, training, or other regulated industry experience (desired).
• Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
• Scrub and smock training to occasionally enter ISO or Grade areas (required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; other hours/days may be required.

Pay

Hiring wage: $84,300 – $134,900, with opportunities for growth, promotion, and annual raises.
