About the Role

The Fiscal Services Division’s (FSD) Audit and Administrative Operations Unit (AAU) supports the administration of audit functions and operational oversight for the division. The section ensures effective fiscal and administrative operations by managing audits, coordinating division-wide initiatives, and developing policies and procedures that advance the division’s goals. This section strengthens internal controls, supports process improvements, and ensures compliance with control-agency requirements.

Under general direction of the Supervisor II, the incumbent plans, organizes, and directs staff performing analytical and administrative activities within the Administrative Analysis Unit. The position is responsible for overseeing workload distribution, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures, and maintaining effective internal controls. The incumbent plays a key role in supporting the strategic goals of the Section by promoting operational efficiency and accountability.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Individuals who are currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for reinstatement, have list or LEAP eligibility, are in the process of obtaining list eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility (please attach your letter, if available). SROA and Surplus candidates are given priority; therefore, individuals with other eligibility may be considered in the event no SROA or Surplus candidates apply.

Pay

• Classification: SUPERVISOR I
• Salary Range: $7,172.00 - $8,910.00
• New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
