Supervisor Hatchery- 1st Shift - Springdale, AR

About the role

This position supervises the operations of a specific hatchery, monitoring day‑to‑day activities and formulating strategies for future improvement.

Responsibilities

• Completing chick delivery sheets, flock pull sheets, and mortality charts
• Keeping logs on each truck consisting of miles and hours worked by each driver
• Ensuring movement of chicks to farms according to shipment schedule
• Monitoring incubation and hatchery equipment as well as environmental control equipment
• Overseeing chick delivery and pick‑up
• Supervising personnel on a daily basis
• Grading fleets of eggs from hen farms, preparing vaccines for chickens, and performing other responsibilities as needed
• Any other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• Education beyond high school, including special training, vocational school, or college courses
• 2 years of experience in poultry, with live receiving or hatchery experience preferred
• Basic computer skills – able to read and generate spreadsheets and review reports
• Travel required 1–2 times per year
• Supervisory responsibilities – overseeing a group of personnel in a single department or work unit performing similar or interrelated tasks
• Must not own, possess, or maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl
• Relocation assistance not eligible
• Work shift: 1st shift (United States of America)
